Crispy Japanese breaded chicken cutlet served with tangy tonkatsu sauce. Golden, crunchy exterior with tender, juicy chicken inside. A beloved comfort food!

Ingredients
- ✓4 chicken breast fillets
- ✓1 cup all-purpose flour
- ✓2 eggs (beaten)
- ✓2 cups panko breadcrumbs
- ✓Salt and pepper to taste
- ✓1 tsp garlic powder
- ✓1 tsp paprika
- ✓Vegetable oil for frying
- ✓1/2 cup tonkatsu sauce
- ✓Shredded cabbage for serving
- ✓Lemon wedges for garnish

Pound chicken breasts to even thickness (about 1/2 inch)

Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika

Set up breading station: flour in one plate, beaten eggs in another, panko in the third

Coat each chicken piece in flour, then egg, then panko, pressing firmly to adhere

Heat oil in a large pan to 350°F (175°C)

Fry chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through

Remove and drain on paper towels
